Look at this beautiful couple!!!

I did a little mini - session for this couple this summer and forgot to blog them! J and R I pray that the Lord continues to bless you as you seek His will for your lives and you continue to sacrifice the comforts of "home" that I take for granted daily so you can follow His calling for you lives in traveling around the country to bring the Good News to people! I hope everyone is having a blessed day - we'll see you back here "real soon" ;) Love, ~R.......:)

Little J....

Reminds me a lot of myself at this age...not necessarily riding dirt bikes...but ready to do whatever my brothers were doing ;) She's the youngest of 5 (I am the 4th of 5) and has such a great demeaner and fun personality. Just in case you are wondering..she's my niece ;) Had to put a plug in!! More coming, just need to sift through them. Instead of hiring a photog for our immediate family reunion this summer, I said of course I would shoot it - so I'll have to share some more later. Gotta love these - hope you love them L and J! Little J, you did great!!

Hope you are able to stay dry today! I did end up having to reschedule for the FIRST time all year due to weather! Crazy huh? Oh well, having a little break is good for the fam too ;) Come back soon, I'll have some more of my family up soon! Love, ~R.......:)

Top Ten Reasons I Love Living In a Small Town:

10. When I have to run errands "in town" I can just park my car one time and walk to get all of them done with the boys while we hold hands and walk nice and slowly :)

9. When I go to the post office I can be the ONLY one there so I don't have to wait in line.

8. When I go to the DMV and it's closed for lunch (!?!?) I can stop and take pictures of the boys climbing on the steps and monkeying around outside while really cute older folks look on and smile and say "what cute boys you have!".

7. I can also walk over to one of my client's house (if need be) and drop off a welcome packet to kill time ;) and go have my new dress altered.

6. I can also shop at the antique shop and find awesome props to kill time. :)

5. When the DMV is open again I can be the first one in line because I am only one of three other people in the whole building and I get taken care of right away!

4. When I only have $7 and I need $15 I can walk with the boys right over to Casey's because the DMV doesn't take VISA debit OR credit and I don't have my checkbook with me.

3. When I can't remember my own debit password and I can't get money out at Casey's either I can walk around town a bit more and find someone who will lend me the $10 I need to pay the lady at the DMV so I don't have to drive all the way back to P'Ville to get my money because everyone I know who is related to me and could help me isn't available and they believe me when I promise up and down that I will send a check in the mail ASAP.

2. And after I borrow $10 from the owner of this particular business who is really really nice and walk back to the DMV, I can find that the nice lady behind the counter has held my spot I think and not helped anyone else because she was waiting for me to get back :) So I didn't have to wait AGAIN...AND I got to register to vote on the same trip...and have my picture taken while a nice farmer talked to my boys about tractors, combines, and loaders and I am not terrified that he will try and steal them when I am not looking from 5 ft. away :)

1. I am totally serious, this happened to me yesterday!!! I LOVE living in a small town!!

Just to prove...

I shoot (as in photograph lol!!) a little bit of everything ;) Here's Mr. Garth Yess, a long time friend of ours. He needed a headshot for his business stuff and asked if I could please help him out. I said "of course!!" However, I don't do "traditional backdroppy formal stuff with studio lighting" headshots persay, but I will find an interesting "backdrop" (hehe) to do the trick. He said "great" so met up in town and here's one that I liked right away. Whether or not he'll use this one, I don't know but I thought you might like to see ;) I of course brought my son, Caleb, along for comic relief and he had Garth laughing and smiling naturally in no time. I didn't have to say ONE word! :)

THIS is what C does when you tell him to act silly to help someone smile. {Sigh}....do you see my dilema?? Must. shoot. fall. session. with. boys. There I wrote it down. They say that when you write your goals down your more apt to accomplish them. (qln.com) :)

Also, let's not forget!!! Today is September 11th! We all know what today is and why we remember it. Let's remember to pray for the families, friends, and loved ones of the dear service men and woman and all the brave souls who lost their lives and gave their lives on this day 7 (can it be 7 already??) years ago. It seems so many have already forgotten. I am so thankful to live in a country where I am free to pray, to worship in my choice of church and location...where as a woman I can VOTE! (wahoo!! I have a GREAT story about registering but I'll tell that one later), where I am surrounded by people who would give their lives for my safety...to live in a country where people are willingly putting their lives in danger for my safety and to protect the freedoms we enjoy on a daily basis. May God continue to bless America.

A couple more of E...how could I not?

Harvest is coming up and little E just turned ONE so of course we had to celebrate in style!! :) These images would actually go PERFECTLY in a certain room in my house, if you've been here before you know what I am talking about *wink - wink*...but I guess I should just get off my lazy bum and get JD pics of my OWN boys for their room huh? Alright, it's going on my list. ;) I LOVE lists..I have them everywhere!!! Until then we can just sit back and enjoy little E's awesome tractor pics! Hope everyone's having a great day so far! Yay!! It's Wednesday! :)) Love, ~R....

Meet little "E"....

Just a couple of little E this morning as I finish up his session...isn't he just well....don't you just want to pinch those cheeks?? Lightly of course ;) He really is the sweetest little guy ever!!! Another little guy I have the priveledge of knowing since he was in his mama's belly - too sweet!! I still have a couple more to post...and they involve a tractor :) And it's green and yellow :))) I'll be back soon! Love, ~R......;)

***Also REMINDER!!! IMAGES ON THE NET ***
Clients may have up to 5 watermarked and resized images that they purchased from their session for their facebook, personal blog, or myspace. Just let me know which ones you would like and I can do that for you and send them right to you to use. Images may only be used on the net with explicit permission from yours truly as I own the Copyright. You will receive a "net use release" with your images also. I am so excited about this because really, the next most important thing to hanging them up on your walls to enjoy is to show them off on the net right?? :) That way everyone wins. At this time there is no charge for resized/watermarked images. Sometime in the future they will be available for $100 per five images. Thank you so much everyone!!! Love, ~R........;)
