Whew!! Are you ready!?!?

This is the start of the CRAZIEST week I will have ever had for sneek peeks!! July is THE busiest month I have ever had - booked SOLID I tell ya! I have proofs up to my eyeballs and coming out of my ears and for this I am so thankful!! Needless to say, August mini-vacation to Galena here we come!! ;)

Here we have Miss C - the second of my official Senior Reps for the 2009 school year. Isn't she just gorgeous!!! More importantly than that she is smart, sweet, and an all around great gal. Thank you so much for entering the rep contest C, it was a pleasure getting to know you!!!

HERE they are!!! Monica and Dan....I'm sort of speechless. The beauty of your love and the way it relays through the lens is just breathtaking!!! I had such a hard time choosing which images to post here, this is seriously just a select few....like 1%. No really. :) Don't worry though, I will be sure and post a couple more for you periodically as I process the images from your awesome day! Congratulations to Monica and Dan!!

Hi there!! Just wanted to check in and congratulate the beautiful bride and handsome groom that I had the honor and priviledge of spending the day with yesterday!!! Monica and Dan, thank you so much for allowing me to capture your love on your most special and momentous day!! I. had. a. blast!!!! :) Everything was so beautiful....you two are beautiful together. {Sigh}....Nothing like a good love story through the lens :) I am home now and am recovering from all the excitement...and physical activity. Who knew wedding photography could be so....physical? Yes, in case you were there and are wondering I am a little sore today. ;)

You know I hate to post without a picture but today is just one of those days! I am going to post a few sneek peeks up here on the blog for Monica and Dan on Tuesday and at that time I will be having a little bloggy blog comment contest like a I did for Vanessa and Rick!!! I'm BACK!!!

{Sigh} :))))...what a great weekend! There is something so refreshing about a bunch of photographers getting together to learn, shoot, talk, share ideas, and relax for whole weekend!! Okay, I guess I should clarify on relax. By relaxing I mean (no dirty diapers, laundry, etc.! :))We had two opportunities to shoot models during the weekend in an urban setting (dowtown Flint, MI)...it was SO awesome!! One shoot was a child model shoot and the other was a bridal shoot. With Monica and Dan's wedding coming up this weekend, it was perfect timing for me and helped me to start "getting in the zone" as I like to call it ;). Without further ado here are a some from the weekend. There are a bazillion more, so more to come in the coming weeks :)

AND THEN!! To top all the wonderfulness of the whole weekend, I WON this beautiful new petti skirt!! Yippeee!! Think fun and funky with this little beauty! :)

Just one more before I leave!

Meet little H. Oh my goodness I had such a good time with her at her modeling session. We ran around and chased each other laughing and giggling. She was such a joy to be around. {Thank you} so much to her mommy, T, for entering her in the little beauties contest...it is a pleasure knowing you and I am so blessed to have been able to capture your sweet little girl through my lens! {sigh} I just LOVE what I do!!!! I mean get some little girls over here and throw on some petti skirts and I'm calling it a great time!! Being girlie, frufru, having fun, running, laughing, giggling, playing tag, twirling, swaying, you name it we did it. :) Thank you also to Grandma L for coming along with T to view her beautiful slideshow the other night!! It was such a blessing to here you oogle over the beautiful artwork of your sweet little grand-daughter. Just hearing how much you and T were enjoying the images of H made my heart leap for joy!

Oh, and did you catch that I thought it was already Friday the other night (laaaate) when it was actually Thursday?? Yep...it's time to get away and rejuvinate my brain for a bit!! I am so excited to be going to MI to meet up with all the different photographers that will be there - the anticipation is killing me!! We will be studying under none other than the renowned Skye Hardwick of Work of Heart Photo.....I am SOOO excited!!

Well that's all I have for now...I hope you all have a fantastic weekend! I'll be "out of the office" until Tuesday with no access to email or phone so I will get back to you as soon as possible Tuesday morning. Also...coming up next week is Monica and Dan's Wedding!!! (Hi Monica!!) Just wanted to let you know I am SOOOOOOO excited to be able to share in their most amazing day!! From what I have seen, Monica has put so much effort into planning a beautiful day. Hmmm...a beautiful day for a beautiful couple ;)

Here is your darling J!! Hi everyone!! Is it Friday already!??!? Oh my goodness the time is flying by so quickly!! I am in the process of preparing to be gone for the weekend for hours and hours spent with other photographers from around the country talking about f stops, shutter speeds, and why we all love photography (YIPPEEEE!!!!!) but before I go, I wanted to post a quick peek for Miss and A and her adorable little girl, J....Isn't she one of the sweetest little girls ever?? It sure was fun following her around for the evening!! I mean just look at her - this girl was born to be infront of the camera!! Check out #2 and you'll see how serious I am!! Sooo sweet! ;)

A couple more for you A...:)

Just couldn't help myself...I am so in love with this summer evening session. I have a special place in my heart for warm summer nights complete with fireflies and warm breezes. R and I met in the summer..on June 16, 2001 to be exact. Exactly four days after the blind date that we were set up on (thank you Jeff and Terri! No, I really mean that in a great way - thank you!!!) we went on our first real "alone" date. We ran two miles to dinner (yes I know, stop right there, crazy right? Well it was the only way we could both get our workout in and go on our date at the same time. I just have to giggle when I think of that!)..anyways....we walked home (from the Boathouse in the Quad Cities in case you are wondering where that historic first date took place :) and it was THE most perfect summer evening ever. Warm breezes rustled the green leaves on the trees as we walked and we just talked and talked....and then talked some more {sigh}....it was soooooo romantic! It was that evening after really talking and getting to know each other that we just knew that we had found someone very very special in each other. Yep, we knew we were blessed from the get go. Fast forward 7 years and here we have just celebrated our first little guy's 4th birthday. Unbelievable. We were incredibly blessed then and we are incomprehensibly blessed today. Thank You Lord!!!
