You might remember this sweet little girl...

Yep, she's on my website splash page...and she is one of the sweetest little girls I know too :) You might notice that she has beautiful short locks this time..and for good reason :) On her own, little E decided she would like to have her long luxurious hair cut so she could donate it to Locks of Love. She had seen some little girls battling with cancer who didn't have their hair anymore and she wanted to help them out by donating her own beautiful locks as a tribute sort of to someone she loves very dearly. Her mom couldn't really say no with a heart intention so pure and loving...and was so proud of her. Little E, Miss Rosie is very proud of you too. You know...it's amazing how little ones like E can really help us think on the love of Christ by their pure and loving actions like that. Thank you E for being an inspiration to me to today and always. Your sweetness and pure innocence make my heart sing!!! Love, ~R........:)

P.S. I hope everyone is having a great day!! Fall is definitely in the air {sigh}...goodbye summer until next year but welcome fall with all the wonderful smells and fresh, cool air...Praise the Lord I live in central IL!!!

Jennifer and Andy - **BLOG CONTEST!!!!**

Congratulations are in order for Jennifer and Andrew!!!!!

Jennifer and Andrew, one of the sweetest couples I know, tied the knot last weekend on August 16, 2008 - what a blessing!! They were married at Weaver Ridge and had THE most perfect day all around. Their outdoor ceremony was beautiful...the reception was beautiful...they were beautiful together. {Sigh}...have I mentioned that I JUST LOVE weddings?? I love to be in them, I love to watch them, I love to photograph them, I love to help plan them, I love to look at pictures of them...I really just enjoy weddings and all they represent - the beauty of God's love living in and through two people...a man and wife as one for the rest of their lives. It really is just so amazing. And speaking of weddings!! Ryan and I will celebrate our big 5 year wedding anniversary tomorrow!!! (Happy Anniversary honey!!)

Okay, de-hijack of Jennifer and Andy's post (sorry I couldn't help it!) IMPORTANT NOTICE!!! NOW BOOKING FOR 2009!!

Due to an overwhelming response and a very full year SDG Photography By Rosie Siebenthal is now booking for the last weekend in April/early May 2009 for everyone 18 mths and older!!!! Just wanted to say thank you and thank you and thank you to all of my awesome clients!! I would not be where I am today without you!! 2008 is officially BOOKED. Unless there is some sort of photographic emergency I will be using the rest of the year to take care of all my clients whom have already booked and those that are waiting for their images to be processed. I will also be homeschooling my little guy, C, in pre-school and will be involved in different aspects at church. Again, I will be taking maternity, birth sessions, newborns, and Wonderfully Made Baby planners throughout the winter so don't worry if you are looking to book. The first and last week of December will be open only for Maternity, births, newborns, and baby planners ONLY. SDG Photography By Rosie Siebenthal will otherwise be closed for rejuvination, family and teaching time, and waiting for the weather to warm back up again from mid - November until late April.

As always, I have sneak peeks coming out of my ears, however, until then I wanted to showcase a couple more of little "O"...this sweet little boy :) I am just loving his eyes and hair with that red chair and the blue background!!!

Speaking of 2009, SDG Photography By Rosie Siebenthal has 5 (Friday evening only) sessions left for the 2008 shooting year!! These sessions are outdoor and will be geared towards children 18 months and older, families, seniors, and engagement sessions. Think fall colors (if applicable) and beautiful golden sunsets. If you are interested in booking before the year is out, please contact me right away as sessions are going fast!!!

We are also booking already for 2009 with dates starting on Saturdays for late April 2009!!! Class of 2009!!!

Meet another one of our Senior Rep Models Miss L!! Senior portrait season is in FULL SWING!!! I hope everyone has a great back to school experience - remember to call soon if you are interested in booking a senior session as sessions for 2008 are now limited to Friday evenings!! All Saturdays for the rest of 2008 are now booked except for the 1st and 8th of Novemeber (if you want to brave the possible chilliness outside!) Also, remember that maternity, births, newborns, and baby planners are still eligible to book through the winter. All other sessions (children 18mths and up, seniors, families, engagements, weddings, etc. can book from May - October.) Thank you everyone, I hope you are having a great day. Nothing says July like....

WATERMELON!!! I know that I am quite possibly risking THE longest post of one session ever here...but please forgive me I just couldn't help myself -do ya blame me though? I mean come on, look at these little cherubs. And don't worry, mom and dad just left and saw their slideshow and everything so there are no suprises. :) Now they can enjoy them right here on the ol' blog in addition to their on-line gallery ;) Thank you again H family...spending time with you and your boys was my pleasure - really they are so well-behaved and are such good brothers!! It was neat to see their reaction to seeing themselves on the big screen too ;)

Well...I hope everyone is having a great night!! Tomorrow is a very special day...our little B turns TWO!! I mean...when did this all happen? Surely he can't be almost two already...what am I saying? He has like 2 1/2 hours left of being ONE. Oh my goodness. Tomorrow is also a very special day for another reason...yes I have something up my sleeve. (But you just get to wait and see what that is ;)
